Door County on July 21st, 2019
Steve and I went up to Door County on a whim. My father got a new corvette and gave us the keys to go for a drive on a gorgeous day. Steve decided that this was the day he was going to ask me to marry him. He took me to a park where he was planning to propose, but I was so worried of leaving the new car in the busy parking lot. I ended up ruining Steve’s plans by not getting out of the car, but eventually agreed to go to one of our favorite spots for a Bloody Mary. He took me out on the rocks next to the water, distracted me by telling me to look at a sail boat and when I saw no sail boat, I turned back around and he was down on his knee with the most gorgeous ring!
We married on October 17, 2020 and just welcomed our beautiful son Marvin in April of 2022.
